About Me

I am an Atlanta native, and I always find joy in meeting new people, as well as spending time with family and friends.

In the words of one of my artistic idols, Debbie Allen, “Failure: is it a limitation? Bad timing? It’s a lot of things. It’s something you can’t be afraid of because you’ll stop growing. The next step beyond failure could be your biggest success in life.” —and it is the next steps in my life that I’m most looking forward to. I know the sky is the limit, and I will strive courageously to let my life continuously do the singing, so that I continue to be an influential leader in all things I put my heart in too.

As I matriculated my freshman year at Agnes Scott I was focused on English and Dance as majors. I truly had a love for them both, and my hopes were to pursue a broadcast-journalism career. During my sophomore and junior years, my career interest shifted as a result of being introduced to the funeral service industry. I currently have been serving as a family consultant with the Tri-Cities Funeral Home in Lithonia, Georgia.

After completing my undergraduate degree from Agnes Scott, I plan to continue my education by attending mortuary school. I currently plan to attend John A. Gupton College in Nashville, Tennessee. My ultimate goal is to own and operate a full-service funeral home and crematory. This industry and business will allow me to serve families in their time of need, make an impact in my community, provide the resources for me to give back to my alma mater for providing me a stellar education and helping to transform my life.
